Gary Barlow has released the title song from his hit show ‘A Different Stage’. 

The Take That star has been touring the one-man production across the UK, including an extended run on London’s West End earlier this year. 

Announcing his latest single, he penned: “This feels really special ! Very happy to announce that on 09.12.22 ‘A Different Stage’ (the song !) and ‘A Million Love Songs (Demo)’ will be released!”

The B-side demo of the boy band’s 1992 single has never been officially released, with Gary adding: “When I was 15, I never would have believed how far ‘A Million Love Songs’ has come… 

“I can’t quite believe that I’ll be releasing the original demo from that time.”

It comes ahead of a busy time for the hitmaker, who will reunite with Mark Owen and Howard Donald in 2023 to work on a brand new Take That album.

“We’ve started a little bit of writing but we’re not due to officially start until the new year,” he recently revealed. “Hopefully [there’ll be an album out] next year, but we’ve got to write some hits.”

Earlier this year, the hitmaker revealed he, Mark Owen and Howard Donald had been mooting ideas remotely, confirming plans for a lead single in late spring 2023.

“You’ll hear a single just before the summer next year and the album will be released around October,” he said. “And the following year we’ve put the whole of it aside for a world tour. 

“We haven’t done a world tour for years. So we will take this new record everywhere and there will be a few surprise places that we haven’t toured before.”

In addition to new music, Take That were recently confirmed as the latest headliners of BST Hyde Park 2023.

The boy band will perform their only show of 2023 at the annual central London concert series on July 1, with The Script and Sugababes providing support.

“We’re so excited to be back together and that BST Hyde Park will be the first stage we perform on in almost four years,” the group said in a statement. 

“We have incredible memories of playing there in 2016, and we can’t wait to see everyone in July.”
