Gary Barlow is confident Take That will be back with new music after he releases his new solo album.
The singer-songwriter is set to drop his fourth solo effort, Music Played By Humans, on November 27th, featuring his collaboration with Michael Bublé and Sebastián Yatra, Elita, plus current single Incredible.
However, he’s assured the band is just taking “a little break” and will be back in the studio soon.
“We’ve done tour-album, tour-album since 2005 and everyone just wanted a little break,” he explained, reported Daily Star. “I’m just crap at doing nothing, I’ve got to busy myself. I’m a songwriter, so I want to feed that muscle all the time.”
Gary added: “Albums take one to two years, so that was my decision to fill time before the band get back together again.”
Music Played By Humans was recorded with an 80-piece orchestra and also features collaborations with Barry Manilow, Alesha Dixon and Beverley Knight.
“I wanted this album to be absolutely packed with players,” he previously shared. “Then, weirdly, all this has happened where we’re not allowed to be near anyone anymore and it’s been so strange.
“I listen to it and just think, ‘Thank God I did it before all this started’.”
