Erasure treated fans to the first live performance of their new single Hey Now (Think I Got A Feeling) over the weekend.
Andy Bell and Vince Clarke debuted the brilliant new track on BBC Radio 2 earlier this month and, as part of Mute Records’ 24-hour ‘online instore’ event, Mute Short Circuit (at Home), the pair united virtually to perform the hit.
Recorded during lockdown, Vince programs the track first, before sending it to Andy to record his vocals – completing the final performance.

Hey Now (Think I Got A Feeling) is taken from Erasure’s 18th studio album, The Neon, which is due for release on August 21st.
“It was about refreshing my love – hopefully our love – of great pop. I want kids now to hear these songs! I wanted to recharge that feeling that pop can come from anyone,” said Andy in a press release.
Vince added: “Our music is always a reflection of how we’re feeling. (Andy) was in a good place spiritually, and so was I – really good places in our minds. You can hear that.”
