Elton John admitted it’s “good to be back” in the US charts after his Dua Lipa collaboration Cold Heart debuted on the Billboard Hot 100.
The pair landed at No. 81 on this week’s countdown, marking his first Hot 100 appearance since July 29, 2000, when Someday Out of the Blue ranked at No. 99, after reaching a peak of No. 49.
Additionally, Cold Heart also debuted at No. 3 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, which blends airplay, sales and streaming data.

The track blends together a number of Elton’s hit singles, including Sacrifice, Kiss the Bride and Rocket Man.
The I’m Still Standing hitmaker previously featured on Lipa’s ‘Studio 2054’ livestream – also starring Kylie Minogue – in November and, earlier this year, she performed at his AIDS Foundation Oscars party.
This year alone, he’s also released collaborations with Rina Sawayama on her track Chosen Family, along with a cover of Pet Shop Boys’ It’s a Sin with Olly Alexander.
