Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris are back at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart with Miracle.
The pair’s hit collaboration was knocked off the top spot last week by Lewis Capaldi’s Wish You The Best, but as his latest track falls to No. 3 it makes way for the duo’s return to the summit.
Miracle is Calvin’s 11th UK chart-topper and saw Ellie become one of the British female solo artists with the most No. 1s in UK chart history, equalling Geri Halliwell and Rita Ora with four. Only Jess Glynne (seven) and Cheryl (five) have more, according to OfficialCharts.com.
In at No. 2 this week is David Kushner, whose breakthrough hit Daylight reaches a new peak, while Libianca’s People remains at No. 4 and Calm Down from Rema climbs back into the Top 5.
Over on the Albums Chart, rockers Enter Shikari debut at No. 1 with their seventh album, ‘A Kiss For The Whole World’, becoming their first chart-topper.
It rounds out a fiercely-fought race to the top against Everything But The Girl, whose first album in 24 years, ‘Fuse’, enters at No. 3 – a personal best for the duo.
Two Record Store Day releases – The 1975’s ‘Live With The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra’ and Taylor Swift’s ‘Folklore – The Long Pond Studio Sessions’ – at No. 2 and 4, respectively.
The Weeknd’s ‘The Highlights’ rounds out the Top 5.
