Duran Duran will return to the stage in September with a pair of gigs in Birmingham.
The band will play two dates at the O2 Institute in the city, where they formed back in 1978, ahead of the release of their 15th album ‘Future Past’ in October.
“Exciting news! Duran Duran will be playing two special ‘small venue’ shows at the O2 Institute in Birmingham, UK on September 14th and 15th,” the group announced.
Members of the Duran Duran VIP Community will have first access to tickets on Tuesday, August 24th at 9 am BST.
General on-sale begins at 9 am on Friday, August 27.
Duran Duran will release ‘Future Past’, including singles Invisible and More Joy!, on October 22.
The album features 12 new tracks and appearances from the likes of Blur’s Graham Coxon and long-time David Bowie pianist Mike Garson, and guest vocals from Lykke Li.
Three bonus songs are included with the deluxe edition of the record, which is available to pre-order on CD, vinyl and cassette.
