Dubstar have released Tears as the latest single from their forthcoming album.
‘Two’, the group’s first album since 2018 comeback LP ‘One’, is due May 6 and also features Token, Tectonic Plates, I Can See You Outside and Hygiene Strip.
It comes as Dubstar prepare to unveil their first album in four years, which sees Sarah Blackwood and Chris Wilkie reunite with original producer Stephen Hague.
“It became obvious that the hiatus was some kind of malady which we’d got over,” says Chris of the group’s renaissance. “We remembered that we just get on well.”
“Sarah and I always had a bit of a sense of unfinished business. There are things about the ‘90s which I’m very proud of and things I’d have liked to have done differently.
“Now we’ve got the opportunity to do it exactly how we felt it could have been.”
‘Two’ is available to pre-order on CD and vinyl (including limited editions).
