Dolly Parton is planning to return to the UK once Covid travel restrictions are lifted.
The music icon last toured the UK in 2014, with shows across the country and a performance at Glastonbury’s Legends slot.
Speaking to Absolute Country, the Jolene star looked to the future as she opened up on her plans going forward.
“Well I don’t have any plans to come unless it would be to do something with the ‘9 to 5’ musical, but I’m not planning to do any touring right now.
“We have got to let all this Covid stuff, we have got to let all the travelling be a little easier, we have got to all stay smart and be good.”
She added: “But I definitely want to come back to the UK, because I love my fans there. So, there’ll be a time, there’ll be a reason and there’ll be a place”
Dolly didn’t specify whether her visit would involve shows or if she has other plans in motion.
Last year, the singer released her third festive collection ‘A Holly Dolly Christmas’ and she returned earlier this year with Sent From Above, in support of her first-ever fragrance.
