Motown legend Diana Ross shows no sign of slowing down during the pandemic, with the singer teasing new music is on the way “soon”.
It’s been 15 years since the I’m Coming Out hitmaker released her last studio album, ‘I Love You’, in 2006, and in a note on social media she promised new tracks are coming.
Alongside a snap of herself on stage, Diana penned: “I miss preforming soo much, I am glad I am recording new music and songs in my home studio, this makes me happy, coming soon!”
In a follow-up post, the When You Tell Me That You Love Me hitmaker confirmed she’d recorded 14 new tracks for the project – while sharing the disappointing news she won’t be returning to the stage until 2022, amid the pandemic.
Prior to lockdown, the star had been announced to play the Sunday legends slot on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury for the festival’s 50th anniversary. However, the festival was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Upside Down star still managed to celebrate her legacy, however, with the release of remix LP ‘Supertonic‘, featuring a selection of the star’s biggest hits reworked from the original master tapes.
Although her Top of the World UK Tour was pushed to June/July this year – one year after being announced for Summer 2020 – it appears from the star’s latest comments that the dates will once again be changed.
The six-date jaunt was due to see Ross play shows in Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London.
