Sunbirds have released Every Road as the lead track from their forthcoming second album.
The Beautiful South star launched his new group back in 2020 with their studio album ‘Cool To Be Kind’, with the follow-up due in 2023.
Ahead of their UK winter tour, which launches in December, the band have offered a taster of their forthcoming sound.
“We’ve been recording with Steve Levine, who is a brilliant producer,” Dave tells Retro Pop. “This time we’re more settled as a band, so we can go into the studio with more of a direction of where the songs are going.
“Previously, we sort of did it as we went along – and that’s what took so long with the first album. But this time, we’re a lot more rehearsed and the songs are more or less formed going into the studio, so that makes the recording easier than it was last time around.”
Sunbirds kick off their winter tour on December 1 at Leamington Spa.
