Ex-Yell! vocalist Daniel James is back with his new single Lovin’ You.
The track, a cover of the MInnie Ripperton classic, features Malissa Whitehouse, who helps the star give the tune a feel-good makeover.
Of the single, he says: “Malissa and I met at Nomis Studios in London during my Yell! years when she was a runner.
“We stayed in touch and worked on some ideas, one of which was a version of Lovin’ You.
“After lockdown we started writing songs together for a K-pop project and, whilst in the studio, listened back to the track again and decided to remix and release it.”
It follows Daniel’s previous releases Set Your Spirit Free and Don’t Want to Lose That Girl.
