Damon Albarn was unveiled as a special guest during Billie Eilish’s set at Coachella this weekend.

The Happier Than Ever star introduced the Blur legend mid-way through her performance for renditions of her track Getting Older and the Gorillaz song Feel Good Inc, alongside Pos from De La Soul.

Sharing her love for the musician, Billie beamed: “This is the craziest s**t I’ve ever experienced.

“This man changed my life in a lot of ways and changed my complete view of what music could be, and what art could be, and what creation could be.

“My first favourite band ever was The Good, The Bad, & the Queen when I was six and Blur changed the world and Gorillaz changed the world, and this man is literally a genius, and that’s that.”

Meanwhile, the hitmaker also called on singer Khalid to perform their collaboration Lovely, and was joined by her brother Finneas for I Love You and Your Power.

The big-name collaborations come after Harry Styles was joined by country-pop icon Shania Twain during his show stopping set.
