Swedish pop duo Da Buzz are back with their latest release Tell Me Why.
The track, the most recent in a series of standalone releases, stays true to the group’s Eurodance roots, with pulsing beats and and a melody that’s more subtle than the euphoric choruses of the band’s early run, yet equally sublime.
“‘Tell Me Why’ is out today! Take a listen,” they penned in a social media announcement, adding: “More will come soon!”
Da Buzz released five albums from 2000-2006, including their debut ‘Da Sound’, featuring the massive hits Do You Want Me? and Let Me Love You.
In 2003, they participated in Sweden’s Eurovision Song Contest selection process Melodifestivalen with Stop Look Listen, however they did not proceed to the finals.
Following the release of their ‘Greatest Hits’ album in 2007 the group went on a hiatus, returning in the ’10s with more standalone releases, with several new tunes dropping over the past 12 months.
According to reports, a new album is in the works and rumoured for release later this year.
