Coldplay have reportedly enlisted Selena Gomez for their forthcoming single Let Somebody Go.
The group look set to release the track as the latest cut from their forthcoming album ‘Music of the Spheres’, due October 15.
Sources tell The Sun: “Chris has always been a huge fan of Selena and it’s a dream come true that she’s finally singing on a Coldplay record.
“They already have plans for a special live performance around the launch of the band’s album.
“She is massively popular with young people so the group hope that collaborations like this will help keep the next generation fans of the group.”
Coldplay recently released the BTS collaboration My Universe as the follow-up to lead single Higher Power.
The new album is Coldplay’s ninth overall and includes 12 songs in total – five of which have emojis as titles.
‘Music of the Spheres’ is available to pre-order on CD and limited vinyl now.
