Three of Shakira’s best-loved albums are being pressed on vinyl for the first time this Summer.
Courtesy of Urban Outfitters US, the star’s English language offerings ‘Laundry Service’, ‘Oral Fixation Vol. 2’ and ‘She Wolf’ will received limited coloured releases on June 25.
‘Laundry Service‘, Shakira’s English language debut and fifth studio album overall, was released in 2001 and features the massive global hits Whenever ,Wherever and Underneath Your Clothes. It will be issued on Clear vinyl with Gold Splatter.
Meanwhile, ‘Oral Fixation Vol.2’ – the counterpart to her Spanish language ‘Oral Fixation Vol. 1‘ – propelled Shakira’s career to new heights in 2006 thanks to the chart-topping worldwide smash Hips Don’t Lie. The vinyl pressing will be Half Green, Half Red.
‘She Wolf‘, the final album to be reissued, was released in 2009 and includes the charting singles She Wolf and Did It Again. It comes pressed on Light Green coloured vinyl.
The reissues are due for release on June 25 – one day after Shakira celebrates the 30th anniversary of her debut album ‘Magia’.
