Singer-songwriter Christina Perri is back with her third studio album ‘A Lighter Shade of Blue’.
Due June 24, the project is Christina’s first studio release since 2014’s ‘Head or Heart’ and is preceded by the single Mothers.
The new track was written by Christina, Amy Wadge and David Hodges, who also produced the single.
Mothers serves as an intimate love letter to parents around the world and reassurance that, amid the many fears of motherhood, they are not alone.
The song also features Christina’s three-year-old daughter, Carmella.
The new project comes following a difficult period for the Jar of Hearts hitmaker, who lost her daughter, Rosie, in 2020.
