Christina Aguilera has teamed with Becky G, Nicki Nicole and Nathy Peluso for her female empowerment anthem Pa Mis Muchachas.
The Spanish-language single – the first to be lifted from the singer’s first Latin album since 2000’s ‘Mi Reflejo’ – was produced by Rafa Arcaute and Federico Vindver.
According to Christina, the new album, inspired by Mexican icon Chavela Vargas, was recorded in three chapters and will be released in 2022.
Speaking about the collection, which Christina is producing alongside her next English-language record, she recently admitted: “It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for so many years.
“I have an amazing team behind me that’s so supportive. I’ve been in music for a really long time, but there’s nothing like being around Latin musicians and artists, the energy they bring to the table, the love and the passion they just bring and exude.
“I actually am reinspired by music all over again, making this album.”
Christina won a Latin Grammy Award for ‘Mi Reflejo’, which dropped a year after her self-titled debut album.
