Cher has been added to the line-up of stars for this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
The pop legend will close out the show which will be televised on November 23, appearing towards the end of the broadcast and marking the beginning of the Christmas season.
She joins previously-announced performers Jon Batiste, ENHYPEN, Brandy, David Foster and Katharine McPhee, Pentatonix, En Vogue and others.
Last month, Cher released her first-ever holiday album, featuring a selection of cover versions and originals, including DJ Play A Christmas Song.
The record includes appearances from Stevie Wonder, Darlene Love, Michael Bublé, Tyga and Cyndi Lauper.
In a review of the album, RETROPOP wrote of ‘Christmas’: “Overwhelmingly festive and quintessentially Cher – there’s a new Queen Of Christmas in town!”
