Cher is back with her first-ever Christmas single, DJ Play A Christmas Song.
The original track is the first to be lifted from the pop icon’s first album in five years, featuring a selection of cover versions and four original tunes.
Among them are collaborations with artists including Stevie Wonder, Michael Bublé, Cyndi Lauper, Darlene Love and Tyga.
“I never say this about my own records but I’m really proud of this one,” says Cher. “It is one of the most amazing highlights of my career.”
Of Motown legend Stevie’s involvement, she adds: “Every time I hear that harmonica, I’m a teenager again. It’s a personal dream come true for me to record this song with Stevie.”
The full album will arrive on October 20, ahead of a ‘Believe 25th Anniversary (Deluxe Edition)’ release in November.
