Cher Lloyd is back with her brand new single, Head Down.
The track is ‘The X Factor’ alum’s first release in four years and, according to the singer, dedicated to those who have hit a brick wall but refuse to back down.
In a post on Instagram, she said: “Head Down is officially out right now. I’m feeling so many different emotions. It’s been a long road to get here. Definitely not an easy one either.
“I’ve always tried to be as honest as possible, although sometimes I find it hard to open up. This is the first time I’ve truly laid everything bare. There have been many times that I could’ve just thrown the towel in, but I always chose to get back up when I’d been knocked down.
“So to anyone reading this, I hope you hear the song and it gives you hope to carry on.”
The Want U Back hitmaker added: “This song is for those who have hit a wall, but refuse to stand still. As a newly independent artist, your support means the absolute world to me – please help me spread the word and share this far and wide.
“We can do this together.
“Finally just a massive thank you for sticking around over these years and being the best fans I could wish for, forever grateful for you.”
