Chaka Khan is preparing to release new music after signing a record deal with independent label Sono Recording Group (SRG/ILS).
According to Billboard, she joins a roster of artists including Brian McKnight, Johnny Gill, Keith Sweat, and Tito Jackson, with plans for a new record this summer.

The new record will be Chaka’s first studio release since her 2019 LP ‘Hello Happiness’.
