Carly Rae Jepsen is back with her brand new single Western Wind.
After debuting the lead track from her latest project at Coachella, she’s finally released the studio version across digital platforms.
The singer-songwriter has been teasing the release on social media for weeks, sharing a map of California alongside lyrics to the new track.
Quotes on the picture include “Coming in like a western wind,” “Reminding me love that it’s all connected,” and “First bloom, you know it’s spring”.
She penned in the caption, “x marks the spot,” with a cross visible on the map at exit 130.
Meanwhile, an image of a billboard has been shared on social media, featuring Carly and the title ‘Western Wind’.
It also includes a phone number which revealed a pre-recorded message from the star, who says: “Hello. You’ve reached the Carly Rae Jepsen hotline. Text me here to stay in the loop on all the kinds of things: new music, tour, secrets that I haven’t even come up with yet.
“News… no, wait, there will be no news. Sorry. But there will be music for sure.”
Carly released her most recent LP ‘Dedicated Side B’ in 2020.
