B*Witched are back with new music due later this year.
The group released their ‘Ripped Jeans‘ EP back in 2024 and earlier this summer shared the brand new track, ‘Firefly’, which will appear on the upcoming project alongside additional material.
Speaking to The Sun’s Bizarre column, singer Lindsay Armaou confirmed: “We have got some other songs in the bag which we’re going to release this year, so there will be a new EP.”
‘Firefly’ was co-written by Ray Hedges, who penned massive hits for the group including ‘C’est La Vie’, ‘Rollercoaster’, ‘To You I Belong’ and ‘Blame It on the Weatherman’.
Speaking to RETROPOP, vocalist Edele Lynch previously revealed how they reconnected two decades later, sharing: “We did a podcast in lockdown and Ray reached out to us and said, ‘Oh my God, we have to do something, it would be so much fun!’”
After he sent them a demo of ‘Birthday‘, which became the lead single from ‘Ripped Jeans’, she recalled: “The second we heard it we were like, ‘Please can we have this?!’”
