Bryan Adams has finished work on his 16th studio album.
Last year, the Canadian star returned to the charts with his most recent LP ‘So Happy It Hurts’ and subsequently expanded the set with ‘Classic’ – a collection of re-recorded hits from across his career.
Although he’s toured extensively behind the project, Bryan has found time to return to the studio and record a new set of tunes.
“Things were going good and I just didn’t want the train to slow down, so I decided it was better to just keep going,” he told Singapore’s Business Times.
According to the publication, the record is slated for release “either this year or next”.
Speaking to RETROPOP last year ahead of the release of his previous LP, Bryan opened up about ‘So Happy It Hurts’ and admitted that, four decades into his career, he still struggles to comprehend his superstar status.
“Someone said to me, ‘Do you ever hear some buskers doing your songs?’ and I said, ‘Yeah, me!’,” he laughed. “It still feels like I’m busking all this time later.”
