Britney Spears has returned to Instagram to celebrate her engagement.
Days after deleting her account, the Toxic star returned to the platform to share a gallery of snaps from a recent trip with fiancé Sam Asghari.
“Some shots from my weekend getaway to celebrate my engagement with my … holy s**t … FIANCÉ,” she wrote.
“I still can’t believe it !!!! I couldn’t stay away from the gram too long so I’m back already!!!!”
Britney added: “Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip in extensions!!!!”
The I’m a Slave 4 U hitmaker deleted her account one day after revealing she was engaged to her boyfriend of five years.
After announcing the news with a reel of the couple showing off her ring, she shut down her account with a post thanking the #FreeBritney movement.
Alongside the final post on her account, featuring an article titled ‘Infusing education with heart’, which featured an Oscar Wilde quote, she penned: “I had to repost this so you can see the whole article!
“Growing up in a world where basically almost everything I did was controlled by someone else… I hope this message gets to people who have been confused or manipulated by a system!
“No… you’re not alone and no… you’re not crazy! People need to hear this before it’s too late! I’ve waited 13 years and counting for my freedom!
“Again… team #FreeBritney you guys f**king kick ass! Love you so much and God bless!”
The (You Drive Me) Crazy hitmaker is in the midst of legal proceedings to see the end of the conservatorship that’s loomed over her life since 2008.
During testimony back in June, she told the court she wanted to marry her boyfriend and have a baby, but the conservatorship wouldn’t allow it.
“I have an (IUD) in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out,” insisted Britney.
“I feel ganged up on. I feel bullied and I feel left out and alone… All I want is to own my money and for this to end and for my boyfriend to be able to drive me in his f**king car.”
