Britney Spears’ former manager has denied claims she bugged the pop star’s bedroom.

Lou Taylor has denied a number of accusations made by Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart as part of the singer’s conservatorship battle.

In court documents obtained by People, Tri Star said: “No one at Tri Star has ever had any control over Ms. Spears’ medical treatment. No one at Tri Star has ever suggested monitoring Ms. Spears’ electronic communications. No one at Tri Star has ever had authority to approve security protocols.

“No one at Tri Star is aware of any hidden electronic surveillance device placed in Ms. Spears’ bedroom. No one at Tri Star has ever received any compensation related to Ms. Spears or her Estate that is not accurately reflected in the accountings filed or to be filed in this case.”

It comes after Britney’s team requested a full account of the past 13 years of the Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group, butTaylor’s team argued that they did not represent Britney at the time her conservatorship began in 2008.

According to the court documents, Tri Star started working with Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears in 2005, and with Britney for her ‘Circus’ Tour in 2009.

News of the surveillance was initially uncovered by director Samantha Starks for the documentary ‘Controlling Britney Spears’, with Rosengart telling the judge the documentary’s findings were “deeply disturbing”.

He is also demanding answers from her dad Jamie, including “all documents and communications relating to any recording or listening device in the home or bedroom of Britney Jean Spears, including all documents and communications relating to the decision to place any such recording or listening device and the records of any such recording”.

Rosengart is also demanding communications relating to “the electronic surveillance, monitoring, cloning, or recording of the activity of Britney Jean Spears’ personal telephone, including but not limited to the surveillance, monitoring, cloning, icloud mirroring, or recording of calls, emails, text messages, internet browser use or history, and social media use or direct messages on social media.”

In court documents filed on September 27, he demanded immediate action and called Jamie’s actions “horrifying and unconscionable”.

During a hearing on September 29, Jamie was ordered to turn over the documents relating to the conservatorship to John Zabel, a certified public accountant, who has been appointed as a temporary conservator.

Jamie was suspended as Britney’s conservator following a court hearing in September, while Jodi Montgomery, who manages Britney’s day-to-day wellbeing and medical decisions, will remain in her role for the time being.

Britney reportedly “burst into tears” upon hearing the judge’s decision to terminate Jamie, with sources revealing: “For the longest time, she had begun to think that she would never see the day that her father’s domineering control over every single aspect of her life would end, but it finally happened.”

And those close to Britney rushed to celebrate her happy news, with fiancé Sam Asghari writing: “Free Britney! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!”

He went on to credit the Toxic star’s followers for their role in the landmark decision, insisting: “Her fan base is called the army for a reason.”

Other stars who hit up social media to share their joy include Cher, who tweeted: “Thank God. I’ve talked and prayed about this for years. I’m more than thrilled for her. Bless our superstar.”
