Britney Spears is engaged!
The singer confirmed the happy news on Sunday, posting a video of herself on Instagram showing off her new rock as she beamed alongside her partner.
“I can’t f**king believe it!!!” admitted the pop icon.
According to reports, Sam proposed at Britney’s LA home with the 4-karat round brilliant stone in a platinum cathedral setting, enhanced with a floating solitaire design.
It’s believed the jewellery has ‘Lioness’ – his nickname for the Stronger hitmaker – engraved inside the band.
Last week, Sam shot down rumours suggesting he had asked Britney to marry him after he appeared to post photos of an engagement ring on Instagram.
The Im a Slave 4 U hitmaker is in the midst of legal proceedings to see the end of the conservatorship that’s loomed over her life since 2008.
During testimony back in June, she told the court she wanted to marry her boyfriend and have a baby, but the conservatorship wouldn’t allow it.
“I have an (IUD) in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out,” insisted Britney.
“I feel ganged up on. I feel bullied and I feel left out and alone… All I want is to own my money and for this to end and for my boyfriend to be able to drive me in his f**king car.”
The couple first met when Sam appeared as her love interest in her Slumber Party music video in 2016.
The new marriage is Britney’s third; she was previously married to dancer Kevin Federline, the father of her two sons, and Jason Alexander.
She was also engaged to former manager Jason Trawick in 2011.
