Boy George is working on a new album set to be released exclusively as an NFT.
The Culture Club frontman tweeted about his latest plans to release his music as a non-fungible token.
“I’ve decided to create an NFT only album. Complete with special tracks and hidden moments,” he tweeted, adding the hashtags, “#TheDiamondChameleon #NFT.”

In a second post, he shared: “The Diamond Chameleon is anyone who creates themselves!”
An NFT is a non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a blockchain, a form of digital ledger, that can be sold and traded.
In recent times, George has been innovative with his releases, sharing tracks on YouTube and even emailing them directly to fans via his mailing list.
Among the new tunes could be a collaboration with Erasure’s Andy Bell, with the star revealing: “I wrote the most insane song with Andy Bell called ‘That Night In Brazil’ we are pop music’s finest surrealists!”
It’s not the only collaboration he’s been working on; George enlisted Kim Wilde to appear on Name and Number from his album ‘Cool Karaoke Vol 1’ earlier this year.
The Kids in America star later introduced the Culture Club star onShine On, the lead single from her ‘Pop Don’t Stop: Greatest Hits’ box set.
