Bonnie Tyler has no plans to stop performing as she approaches her 70th birthday.
The Holding Out for a Hero hitmaker is set to return to the stage this Summer with a string of European dates, after releasing her 18th studio album ‘The Best is Yet to Come’ earlier this year.
And in a video snippet shared on social media, Bonnie opened up about her future plans, assuring fans as long as she’s fit and well, she’ll continue touring.
“You can’t wish for anything better than good health,” she says. “I’m not going to retire – I’ve got no inclination about retiring – so as long as I’m healthy I’ll be on the road somewhere.”

However, Bonnie admitted that, as time goes by, she plans to spend more time doing the things she loves, including relaxing at her beachside home in the Algarve.
“Of course, I want to spend a little bit more time here than I used to, but I pick and choose what I want to do,” she added.
When Retro Pop caught up with Bonnie earlier this year, the Lost in France singer confessed she’s desperate to start performing again after the downtime of lockdown.
“I have to say, I’ve enjoyed the rest, but I tell you what, my batteries are fully charged now and I’m ready to rock that stage,” she shared.
“I will always do my classic songs that everybody loves to hear, because I never get tired of singing them. And people want to hear the old stuff. But my show is gonna be fresh and exciting…
“I can’t wait for the people to hear the [new] songs!”
