Blue have released Dance With Me as the second single from their latest album ‘Heart and Soul’.
The new track – a cover of 112’s R&B classic – follows lead release Haven’t Found You Yet, which is out now.
Speaking about their decision to take on the 2001 hit, Blue said: “It was a song we used to listen to in the car before every gig. It’s a nod back to what we were known for in the early ’00s.
“Everything just seemed to fit into place as we were recording and we thought it was important to show the identity of Blue and what we’re about. The R&B feel and the soulful vocals has always been a catalyst for us and was important to have a bit of throwback on the album.”
Blue’s first album since 2015’s ‘Colours’ is due September 9 and will be supported by a UK tour in December.
The 20th anniversary shows kick off on December 4 at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena and conclude at Newcastle Utilita Arena on December 20.
Special guests for the dates will be announced in due course, after Atomic Kitten pulled out of the trek when dates changed.
