The BET Awards 2023 nominees have been unveiled with Beyoncé and rising girl group FLO among the big names on the shortlist.
The Destiny’s Child legend racks up four nominations in total, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Album of the Year for ‘Renaissance’.
Meanwhile, FLO – who were named one of RETROPOP’s Ones to Watch in 2023 – land three nods, including Best New Artist.
Drake leads the nominations with seven, ahead of GloRilla with six, and 21 Savage and Lizzo with five each.
Nominations were selected by the BET Voting Academy, comprised of an esteemed group of entertainment professionals and influencers in the fields of music, media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, and creative arts.
The BET Awards 2023 will air live on BET on Sunday, June 25 at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
