Barbara Dickson will embark on her final tour of the UK next year.
The Scottish star – whose career has spanned five decades and saw her top the charts in 1984 with the Elaine Paige duet I Know Him So Well – promised fans a “memorable occasion” as she announced her ‘Farewell Tour’.
“I played my first headline tour with full band in 1977. Now, for 2024, I’ve decided to make this one my last,” she said in a statement.
“A memorable occasion and a suitable celebration is required. Come and help us make this tour the most special of all.”
Launching on February 11 with shows at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre, the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow and Eden Court in Inverness, she’ll then head to England and play a run of shows before playing her final date at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on February 24.
Tickets go on sale May 26.
