Bananarama revisit four decades of iconic looks in their new online series ‘Bananarama: Our Fashion Story’.
Singers Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward talk through outfits dating back to their very first album, ‘Deep Sea Skiving’, released in 1983, along with other key looks from the ‘90s, ‘00s and ‘10s.
Along with unseen photos and video clips, the duo also showcase a number of costumes they held onto, including the group’s iconic Movin’ On dresses and I Heard a Rumour Flamenco skirts.

Despite forcing them off stage, Sara and Keren enjoyed a successful 2020, releasing their acclaimed memoir ‘Really Saying Something’ and re-issuing their classic 1995 album ‘Ultra Violet’ on vinyl and digital services.
Although the pair have admitted they “cannot even see [touring] happening” in 2021 – unless a vaccine is widely available – they insist they’ll be back with new music and a celebration of four decades of their career in 2023.
“We’re not going to give anything away because we don’t know that we’re doing anything,” Sara shared. “We haven’t got that far.
“For the 40th anniversary there’ll be something happening there.”
