Avril Lavigne has released the digital deluxe edition of her latest album ‘Love Sux’.
The LP marks a return to the superstar’s early pop-punk sound, arriving 20 years after her debut record ‘Let Go’ (2002).
Featuring the original 12-track album, the new edition includes her recent Yungblud collaboration I’m A Mess, along with Mercury In Retrograde and Pity Party.
Additionally, the LP has acoustic versions of her singles Bite Me, Love It When You Hate Me feat blackbear, and Bois Lie with Machine Gun Kelly.
“I am so proud of this record and I had such a fucking blast making this,” said Avril. “Thank you to all of my fans for embracing this album and bringing these songs to life with me on tour all year. It’s been magical.”
In a review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘Love Sux’ a “pop-punk masterpiece” and praised “the level of life and energy in every recording – something that’s not been so well captured since Avril’s 2007 LP ‘The Best Damn Thing’.”
‘Love Sux’ is available now.
