Avril Lavigne and Machine Gun Kelly have released the music video for their single Bois Lie.
The pop-punk superstar’s latest track is lifted from her seventh album ‘Love Sux’, following Bite Me and Love It When You Hate Me.
She says of the track: “Ok, so if you came out to the ‘Mainstream Sellout Tour’ then you know that every night was a mother fkn blast.
“Not only was my set fun as fuck I jumped up with Kells every night when we performed Bois Lie for you all.
“So here it is… OUR BOIS LIE MUSIC VIDEO that we shot during the tour this summer OUT NOW!!!!”
The pair also released an acoustic version of the single, stripping the instrumental right back and placing their vocals front and centre.
In a review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘Love Sux’ a “pop-punk masterpiece” and praised “the level of life and energy in every recording – something that’s not been so well captured since Avril’s 2007 LP ‘The Best Damn Thing’.”
‘Love Sux’ is available on CD and cassette.
