Appleton are set to release ‘Side By Side’ – their first collection of new material as a duo in over 20 years – on September 4.
Former All Saints stars Natalie and Nicole Appleton released their debut LP ‘Everything’s Eventual’ in 2003 and made a surprise return earlier this year with the single ‘Falling Into You‘.
Ahead of their performance at London’s Mighty Hoopla festival last month they teased more music and, following a triumphant set comprising tracks from their time with the group, hits from their debut and a cover of Sugababes‘ ‘Round Round’ with Heidi Range, they’ve shared details of their new EP.
Featuring four new tracks, including ‘Falling Into You’ and the new single ‘Ready To Begin’, out now, Nicole says of the project: “The reaction to ‘Falling Into You’ and our first Appleton show in over twenty years has been incredible.
“We feel so grateful that people still connect with these songs and are excited about what we’re doing now,” she adds. “This EP feels like the natural next chapter.”
