Altered Images have released a four-track EP featuring reworkings of some of their classic hits.
The ‘Clara Libre’ collection includes Cuban-inspired renditions of the singles Happy Birthday, Don’t Talk to Me About Love, See Those Eyes and I Could Be Happy.
Originally available alongside pre-orders of their latest album ‘Mascara Streakz‘, the EP is now available across digital platforms.
The band’s new offering brings their sound up to date, with its synth-pop melody and contemporary beats an evolution from their original spiky guitar pop style.
Of the album, featuring the singles Glitter Ball and Mascara Streakz, Retro Pop said: “Clare and co. excel in modernising their signature sound while remaining faithful to their roots, for a set that blends perfectly with the group’s classic output and holds the essence of Altered Images close to its heart. ”
‘Mascara Streakz’ is available now.
