Altered Images have released Glitter Ball as the latest track from their new LP ‘Mascara Streakz’.
The single is the third to be lifted from the group’s first album in almost 40 years and is co-written by Clare Grogan and Bernard Butler.
Of the single, she says: “I absolutely love the drama we created in this song. It’s all about the beautiful and unexpected on a night out.”
The band’s new offering brings their sound up to date, with its synth-pop melody and contemporary beats an evolution from their original spiky guitar pop style.
In addition to the new album, the group is set to hit the road in September for a string of headline UK tour dates.
