Alphabeat’s former label Copenhagen Records have shared the group’s first video for their mega hit Fascination online in 1080p HD.
Before the six-piece group made waves internationally with the 2008 Top 10 smash, they quietly released the track – and accompanying self-titled album – in their native Denmark.
While the recording had the same distinctive vocals and undeniable, upbeat feel, the group’s image was considerably different in their early 2006 days – as seen in the incredibly rare footage.
Oh, the mid-’00s – when handkerchief scarves were all the rage and Anders SG refused to visit the hairdressers… TAKE US BACK!
If that wasn’t enough nostalgia, Copenhagen also shared a clip of an early, previously unreleased demo recording from the group, titled Tonight the Story Ends. The live recording was captured in 2005 and features Stine Bramsen on lead vocals.
Alphabeat returned with their first new music in seven years – the brilliant Don’t Know What’s Cool Anymore – last year, with a UK tour, previously scheduled for early 2020, set to take place next spring.
