Melanie Blatt is reportedly planning to revive her solo career.
The All Saints star scored hits such as Never Ever, Black Coffee and Pure Shores with the group and scored her first solo Top 20 hit back in 2003 with Do Me Wrong.
When she reunited with Shaznay Lewis and Natalie and Nicole Appleton in 2006, her solo run came to an end, but as Shaznay prepares to unleash her latest album ‘Pages’, Melanie also looks set to go it alone once more with new material.
According to sources, Melanie has been “back in the studio and is ready to release her first single in more than a decade”.
“Mel isn’t a very confident singer and it has taken a lot for her to get back in the studio,” they told The Sun’s Bizarre column.
“But she has seen her bandmate Shaznay Lewis do it this year and wants to push herself.
“The plan is for her song with KDA to come out soon and everyone around her is hoping it will encourage her to continue with more music.”
Producer KDA topped the charts back in 2015 with Turn The Music Louder, a collaboration with Katy B and Tinie Tempah.
