Alison Moyet is back with her brand new single Such Small Ale.
The track is the first taster of the pop legend’s forthcoming 40th anniversary album ‘Key – her first since ‘Other’ (2017) – which arrives October 4.
Alongside the single – one of two original tracks on the album, which also includes reimagined recordings of cuts from across her career – Moyet has also released a reworked version of her 1984 single All Cried Out.

“I wanted to take the opportunity to look at the trajectory of the past four decades and explore songs that, in their original form, were never fully realised or have had their relevance to me altered by time,” says the artist of her new record.
A collaboration with producer, arranger and musical director Sean McGhee, the songs on the album take on a timeless feel, while two new tracks – Such Small Ale and The Impervious Me – are a testament to her enduring creativity.
Offering a cohesive journey through her repertoire to date, she adds: “I hope this collection will be the key to those unopened doors. Let yourself in.”
