Alison Goldfrapp is back with her new single I Wanna Be Loved (Just A Little Better).
The track is the first to be released by the electro-pop star since last year’s solo album ‘The Love Invention‘, and the first release on her own label, A.G. Records.
On the song, which is produced by Richard X, she says: “After the amazing reaction to my first solo record ‘The Love Invention’ I wasn’t quite ready to leave the dance floor.
“It’s fun, fizzy, a little bit melancholic and a little bit retro. I hope you love it.”
Speaking about launching her record label, the singer adds: “It’s an exciting new chapter for me after two decades in the industry.
“To own my masters for the first time and share my music with the world in my own way feels really quite exhilarating.”
