Singer-songwriter Alice D is back with her latest EP ‘Into The Light’.
Having co-written a handful of tracks for Bananarama’s latest album ‘Masquerade’, including current single Forever Young, the rising star takes the reins on her eight-track collection.
Of the collection, she tells Retro Pop: ”I wrote this EP primarily with Tim Blok (producer) and also producer Julian Simmons. I’ve spent the past year working on it and every aspect has been carefully thought out – from the music and songwriting to the artwork and visuals.
“As mentioned, I have been listening to a lot of vinyl from around the world and I took these references to Tim, who brought my visions to life. With this body of work, the title ‘Into the Light’ is very fitting for the themes that I cover.
“I have got to a place in my life where I feel confident in my skin and am able to step into my truth, my light.”
Featured on ‘Into The Light’ are the recent singles Passion and Nervous.
