Alesha Dixon is back with her new single War.
The track, out now on digital platforms, is her first solo release in five years and believed to be the lead track from her forthcoming fifth album.
She said in an Instagram post: “WAR is out today! Thank you so much to everyone who helped create and birth it!”
The singer shot to fame as a member of Mis-Teeq and scored two hit albums with the group before going solo.
While debut album ‘Fired Up’ failed to light up the charts, a winning stint on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ helped her hit the UK Top 5 with single The Boy Does Nothing, taken from her album ‘The Alesha Show’.
She’s since scored a further four Top 20 singles and released two albums, while holding down a spot on the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judging panel.
