Alanis Morissette’s jukebox musical ‘Jagged Little Pill’ will debut in the UK later this year.
The music, based on the singer-songwriter’s 1995 album of the same name, tells the story of a family that appears perfect but is struggling with addiction and trauma issues.
It premiered in the US in 2018 and is now on Broadway, with plans to launch on London’s West End in autumn 2022.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to see this musical head to the West End,” said Morissette in a statement.
“It’s been such an incredible experience to be a part of and I’m so excited to see it continue to grow and travel.”
The show is also embarking on a North American tour, directed by Diane Paulus and featuring Diablo Cody’s Tony-winning book.
London casting, venue and start date will be announced at a later date.
