ABBA’s comeback album ‘Voyage’ has broken Universal Music UK’s pre-order records with more than 80,000 copies sold so far.
Just days after the Swedish supergroup announced their first album in 40 years, the band hit the sales milestone, breaking the record previously held by Take That.
In addition to the album’s early success, singles I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down have both landed in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart’s first midweek update.
The tracks fall at No. 6 and 7 respectively.
Both songs were released on Thursday, September 2 and, with only hours until the chart cut-off, peaked at No. 9 and 11 on the Sales Chart.
ABBA thrilled fans worldwide by announcing their new 10-track album, along with a live concert experience due to open in London in spring 2022.
‘Voyage’, due November 5, is available to pre-order now on CD, vinyl and cassette.
