ABBA are celebrating five decades of success with a new album bringing together all of their singles on the Polar label from 1972 onwards.

For the first time, all of the band’s hits up until 1982 – plus the singles released in conjunction with 2021’s ‘Voyage’ album – feature together on ‘The Singles – The First Fifty Years’, arriving October 25.

The 2CD and 4LP box sets include the band’s very-first release, People Need Love, along with such classics as Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Knowing Me, Knowing You, Ferando, Take A Chance On Me, Chiquitita and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight).

Clocking in at 38 tracks, it also features the Swedish group’s final ’80s hits The Day Before You Came and Under Attack, plus ‘Voyage’ cuts I Still Have Faith In You, Don’t Shut Me Down, Just A Notion, Little Things and No Doubt About It.

Plus, thjere are four additional tracks not issued as Polar Music A-sides, but which were singles in some countries back in the day: Hasta Mañana, Angeleyes (a double A-side with Voulez-Vous in some countries), Lay All Your Love On Me and When All Is Said And Done.

The package also comes with an illustrated booklet with liner notes by Carl Magnus Palm.
