ABBA will celebrate 50 years since the release of their second album, ‘Waterloo’, with a series of reissues.
Five decades since the group achieved their international breakthrough on the back of their Eurovision Song Contest win, Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad are revisiting the LP for their latest release.
The album will reissued as a Half-Speed mastered 45RPM 2LP Vinyl, along with a limited edition box set of the three vinyl singles originally released by Polar in 1974. The singles are also available as separate picture discs.
To top it all off, there is a unique 10” vinyl disc featuring Waterloo in four different languages, along with a new line of anniversary apparel taking it back to the 70’s.
To celebrate the release, for one night only on April 4 Up at The O2 is giving fans the chance to dance along to ABBA’s hits on the roof of London’s iconic O2 arena, against the backdrop of London’s skyline.
