Noel Gallagher has added fuel to the fire around speculation that Oasis will perform more shows together next year.
The rocker reunited with his brother Liam last year for a sold-out run of massive gigs as part of their ‘Oasis Live ‘25’ tour, and amid rumours that the pair are set to announce a new tour imminently, the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmaker has addressed the speculation directly.
Speaking on talkSPORT’s Drive show, Noel teased a future announcement when presenter Andy Goldstein noted that Liam had appeared to leave social media platform X last week.
“Well, then there must be something happening,” he said. “Let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”
It comes ahead of a busy end to the year for Oasis, whose documentary film ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ hits cinemas on September 11, ahead of their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on November 14.
