Katy Perry will screen her ‘Lifetimes’ concert film in 150 cinemas across the UK – after raising over £80k for the Music Venue Trust.
Billed as ‘Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris’, the concert film is set to launch in cinemas and on IMAX across 70 countries on September 2, with tickets to the UK showings going on sale next Thursday (July 30).
Filmed across two sold-out nights in Paris last November on a 60-camera set-up, the show is stacked with the US pop superstar’s biggest hits and cuts from her most-recent album, ‘143’ (2024).
“Katy Perry’s ‘Lifetimes Tour’ was larger than life and this film captures every ounce of the concert— reimagined to feel as if you’re at a tour stop,” says Kymberli Frueh, EVP of Content Acquisitions and Programming, Trafalgar Releasing.
“This cinema release gives new and returning KatyCats—a chance to experience the moment, the way it was meant to be seen—with other fans, on the biggest screen possible.”
The ‘Lifetimes Tour’ ran for 91 shows in 23 countries over eight months and supported multiple charitable causes, raising $264,814 (£198,124) forPerry’s own Firework Foundation in the US and £81,918 ($109,128) for Music Venue Trust in the UK, supporting grassroots venues and emerging talent.
The 132-minute film – directed by Paul Dugdale and produced by 10 Lives Studios’ Daniel E. Catullo III – also features exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus content.
